don't give up. what usually happens is that sales come in bursts. if you can't afford it right now, think about partnerships with websites with similar products, informations, etc.

    hope this helps.

Is not to promote the clickbank affiliate site directly.
Instead build a website, reviews on clickbank products, etc.
    And promote that website.

And hide always the clickbank url as it is so darn easy for anyone to take a clickbank url and add their own id in place of yours and poof! No sale to you, they bought something and got credit for the sale.

What do you use to hide your clickbank aff ID, iowadawg? I've started with an affiliate program myself via Clickbank and I'm still learning the ropes...

some of the affliate programs give you cloaking html text
I simple put the home page address from affliate in display url and clickbank in other.
like I said click bank seems to work but you have to find out which products and that takes to much research money. I think the wy to go is build a site and promote the site . but this takes time!!!!!!! no get rich quick methods here.

I think the affliates would do much better if they offered finished product review pages.

Even if you manage to build kick-ass review page, the most difficult part is to drive traffic to that page. PPC traffic is still the best way to get traffic.

I agree, though it is a very expensive way of driving traffic.

Did anyone had much success submitting articles, traffic exchanges, etc?

    Thanks

My two pennies. I use Shurl.org because you can custom name it and it follows to address bar. Plus everyone is already using tinyurls.

It doesn't mean that everyone's using tinyurl and you have to be different.

Depending on what purpose you're using it for, even Ewen Chia is still using tinyurl...

But if you're really serious about your business, then I would recommend you get yourself some software script for redirecting/cloaking links. Of course you would need to have your own website for this, but I would advise anyone to do so. And it'll look better like this:

    http://www.erictan.ws/recommends/newbiecashmachine
    http://www.erictan.ws/visit/freewebsitebuilder
    http://www.erictan.ws/go/affiliateofthemonth

Note that I'm using my own name on the address, it'll not only promote your affiliate products but build up your own reputation also...

PM me and I'll guide you through how to get yours with no obligations...

cloaking links is only important if you are selling some to do with clickbank. And even then they will go to the URL with their own aff link.

99.99999% of the people out there dont know what an affiliate link is let alone how to change it.
