And all the time I thought it was my superior SEO skills Do a search on Google for pn50a450 I'm ranked #13 and I still need to put up my page pn50a450.org Well for the next few hours while I get my site up anyway, but don't drive the stats up until I get my pages up
You'd be surprised, there's quite a few people searching for some terms and their VERY targeted. I got lucky with the org, a lot of the good extensions are gone already.
Getting to #1 or at least in the top 10 for an uncommon phrase is very easy. I created a new blog about a month ago and within a week I was on the first page for hot hillbilly women, ugly hillbilly women and how to catch and cook a possum - and believe it or not people do search those terms - I see it in my stats
http://www.google.com/search?q=pn50...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a correct it seems like a popular model number.
If you use Google's tool you get a figure that's WAY to high, I like Wordtracker (the free tool) or the SEO keyword tool. It is popular but not that popular that's why the org was available, I just registered it about a week ago I think and forgot to put up the domain
Bob, I posted the link so others could see that the term is used on a bunch of sites. At face value, anyone should be able to get #1 on page #1 for some wacky term........but come to find out that's not going to happen overnight (at least not with that term).
seems like you're losing ranking to me. I see you ranked #20. I suggest you put your content or you might lose traffic
Times like these make you wonder what the Big-G is up to. A Good domain is all you need lol content & images just muck things up
Hot Hillbilly Women. Now there's a niche to be jumped on! Seriously, I wonder if a hillbilly dating site was ever created?
That's my point exactly. Just shows how having keywords in your domain helps. Now I gotta go and upload some pages.
Good for you dude, go ahead and upload some pages content and images And most important is to start obtaining backlinks.. and add AD's $$$ few bucks won't hurt dude. In my opinion a keyword in the domain won't help that much even in some of easiest keywords to rank
Hmmmm.............That's an interesting concept. I've never heard of anybody targeting model numbers of different products.
As I can see, the keyword you target is not a competitive search term. It would be easy for you to reach the top position, read some guidelines on how to do it. Blogs would help you with this matter, they are more search engine and visitor friendly.
