As google is the largest search engine hence has the largest no. of online websites & companies listed. Advertisers pay Thousands of Dollars to google to place their ads. As google cannot put all the advertising only on their search engine. So they started Adwords and Adsense. It is the simplest way of posting ads on billions and trillions of websites world wide. Advertisers post their ads through Adwords and publishers sign up with Adsense to post ads on their website. Google pays per click on the advertisements and per click rate depends on the advertiser how much he is bidding for. A single click can earn you $1-$45 or $50 as well if you have a website and you are a google adsense publisher. Now the question is about thousands of websites offering you Adsense ready websites which can cost you from $1-$99 (Rs 50-Rs 5000) a website. They provide you with sites having thousands of pages and a read me file where you can replace your adsense id to place adsense on the site. Are they really worth buying? Are they real? Are they upto the promises they provide? ANWER is a big NO! These all sites are scam. And reasons why not to buy these sites are: 1. Duplicate content Website which is offering you these sites sell these sites repeatedly (n) no. of times making them Duplicate.And the result is very bad ADSENSE never approves a site with duplicate content. So your money is gone. 2. Honey for them suger for you This thing is robbing your money these ready made web sites come with embedded adsense codes with the id of that person who sells these websites you only change the adsense id on the front page but for the rest of the pages adsense adds will be appearing from sellers id. Hence you will be earning only for the ads which appear on the front page. So they earn honey and you are earning only suger. 3. No domain name and webhosting These websites always come with no domain name and no webhosting. And for a comman man it is very difficult to get a domain name configure it then transferring a website with the help of ftp which is very tough for a man who has no or little knowledge of internet. 4. SEO, Search engine submission and traffic This one is the biggest issue with all these sites as no site can be listed in search engines as they contain duplicate content so you will not get the targetted visitors. Which means no clicks in turn no money.

I think you are right on most things here (have no experience on your 2nd reason). Unfortunately there are probably a lot of people being fooled by those golden promises - otherwise they wouldn't exist for long.
I suppose that's why newbies think this business is not viable A scam here, a scam there and soon they think we are all scammers

I totally agree, I did try setting up 1000's of these pages. Although some pages got indexed, it wasn't worth the time and ethically not justified.
