Problems with Google indexing my site

Hi there, i have a problem with G indexing my website. The site is like 1 month old. I`ve submitted almost all of my articles to Digg, Stumble, and other SB sites, made some directory submissions, rss submissions, sitemap submission but no results from google. Yahoo inexed my website.

I added the site to webmastertools and submitted my sitemap. At statistics menu when i look for Crawl Stats it shows me the Number of pages crawled per day, Number of kilobytes downloaded per day and Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds). Also it shows me what google bot sees on my webpage and the status of my sitemap is OK but the site doesn`t get indexed. I know it could take 1-2 months for a site to get indexed but never happened to me before to take this long. I have a bunch of site and also i took care of some friend's sites but never took more than a week to index a site, sometimes in just 2 days.

Anyone have an opinion of what the problem might be ?

P.S. there is no adult, illegal or any kind of this content and also there is no problem from my robots.txt file

    Please help. Thanks.

maybe your domain banned from SE
to know that follow this steps
First type the domain into google. if it shows up there even just as a url it is probably not a ban. if it is not there then do "www.domain.com" with quotes. if you see links to it and it did not show up at all before it has a ban.

    Hello...

This does sound very rare indeed... being you have been doing everything correct...

Is the domain new or was it dropped? maybe last owner got the site domain banned?

I would try reclusion request with you telling them you are domains new owner

    thx

thanks for your answers, i registered the domain as new but i made a history research and found out that the domain was registered before and dropped. I`ve discovered that it was a music's band site before and also checked on archive.org but seemed nothing ilegal too before i registered the domain and didn't find any motives for it to be banned. I think i will wait a few days and then i will contact Google.

@TheLasTSamuRai: i tryed that, with and without quotes the search brings up the articles i`ve submitted to SB sites or the directory submissions.

Hi there, If the domain has history I would double check using banned site checker tools. Your domain should have been indexed within a period of a month. Let us know how it goes

i have found some tools but i don`t think they`re trustble. They check to see if any page of site is indexed or if the page has any PR. I don't think a real tool for this exists.

anyone knows how can i contact google fot this matter ?

Create an account (if you don't already have one) at google.com/webmaster . Once you have the site verified and set up in webmaster tools, then on your dashboard page on the right side will be the link to request reconsideration. I have a domain in the same boat.

    Good luck.

Try to use sitemap, and make sure you exclude duplicate content using /robots.txt

link to it from craigs list, write about 200 words describing the site. even though they (cl) use the no follow tag, I have had domains indexed within 24 hours of being "posted" on craigs list.

Did you submited all your articles to the SB sites in a unique burst? Did you do it all in the same day?

Because Google will get you sandboxed if you do that. If that's the case, the big G will put you on within a week or two.

If it's not, keep posting and pinging, it will sooner or later get indexed.

    -- -- --
Also check your site for broken links, Google doesn't like that.

Are you sure there is no problems with the robots.txt file? 1 month does sound like a very long time to get indexed.

    Dude listen to yourself...

She said she submitted to a lot of Social Bookmarking sites, that means backlinks, that means Google already crawled the website.

What the Disallow code on the robots text file will do is to tell the bots not to crawl that part of te website, which it is already crawled since it's indexed on yahoo and has already backlinks built.

So the only problem could be the noindex tag on the pages of the ste itself, which I doubt she has.

    Those are diferent things Jas.

If you are not getting crawled you need to build a couple of backlinks to it first.
But the thing with Gina os diferent, she is getting crawled but it's not getting indexed just on Google.

Hi, thanks to all for your answers.

I get my site crawled as it shows up in the Crawl Stats in my webmastertools account. The problem is not from robots.txt. I`ve sent an email to and hope to receive some answer.

@homey: Thanks for your tip, i didn't know about that link in webmasterstools. I'll wait the answer to my email i`ve sent and if it says it is banned i would request reconsideration.

Well the domain was expired and registered so many times since 2005/6 !!!?

As an advice request a reconsideration from your account in google web masters tools and just wait, as you don't really know how it was used or if it's even banned by them.. doorway pages or even cloaking ;)
