Yep, you will get into trouble considering Google happens to be trademarked ;)

I recommend you take it off right now.

Do you listen to any advice you get?

Google is trademarked, Google's logo is trademarked. If you were to send them a message asking if it was ok to use a logo that looks like theirs; what would they say? You cannot use it!

    Put it this way:
    You cannot use Youtube's logo
    You cannot use MSN's logo
    You cannot use Yahoo's logo
    You cannot use Microsoft's logo

At least, not legally of course.

Im surprised that your adsense is still working. Once google sees that they might cancel your adsense account.

Guess that's my question. I'm certainly no expert and I'm curios how this is an infringement on Google's copyright/trademark. It looks to me like he is simply using the same colors and font as Google but that's about it.

Does G have a copyright/trademark on these colors and font and no one else can use them?

Well, considering that Google has a logo that is purely text, I would think that using exactly the same colours and font amounts to ripping off the logo pretty much as far as possible without using the actual word "Google"...

Yeah um, you can't rip off a trademark and then also make money from the company you're ripping said trademark off from. Dude.
