hi everybody. i made a site for sharing knowledge about google adsense for pakistani and indian user in URDU language. and i made a site http://urdoogle.110mb.com is it against the rule to make the logo similar as google?? also give reviews about placement.
Yep, you will get into trouble considering Google happens to be trademarked I recommend you take it off right now.
Good Work man though i haven't understand a single word from your site Why you are hosting it with free host ? I would advice you to get some reliable paid hosting package and host your website. Just my honest opinion....
No need to change LOGO Thats great... make sure you host it with some reliable and honest Paid webhost.
Do you listen to any advice you get? Google is trademarked, Google's logo is trademarked. If you were to send them a message asking if it was ok to use a logo that looks like theirs; what would they say? You cannot use it! Put it this way: You cannot use Youtube's logo You cannot use MSN's logo You cannot use Yahoo's logo You cannot use Microsoft's logo At least, not legally of course.
my friends follow what he tell you or you will get your adsense banned and your domain deindex by google
Im surprised that your adsense is still working. Once google sees that they might cancel your adsense account.
Guess that's my question. I'm certainly no expert and I'm curios how this is an infringement on Google's copyright/trademark. It looks to me like he is simply using the same colors and font as Google but that's about it. Does G have a copyright/trademark on these colors and font and no one else can use them?
Shit man, just don't copy the god damn colours ! Use your own colours, dude ! Make it purple or smth...not google colours, cause they can sue your ass in no time.
Well, considering that Google has a logo that is purely text, I would think that using exactly the same colours and font amounts to ripping off the logo pretty much as far as possible without using the actual word "Google"...
Yeah um, you can't rip off a trademark and then also make money from the company you're ripping said trademark off from. Dude.
