Well I have a site that I am making about 10 dollars a day on. I am getting about 5000-6000 impressions and was getting around 20 clicks. I decided to change the colors of the titles on my ads from a color that blended in to a color that stuck out. Since then I have been doubling the amount of clicks I receive and still only making 10 dollars a day. I know that color doesn't matter with how much you get for clicks but I thought I would at least be making 15+. Haha ITS CRAZY
Hmm that is interesting. How about your try placing less ads on your page and see if your earnings go up. I know if there are less spots on your page for advertisers to bid on the amount they pay can possibly go up.
Yeah what I need to do is track all three spots and find out where my clicks are coming from and them take out the other two ads. I might work on this next week.
Exactly. Make a seperate channel for each ad and then you can track them easily and tell which one works best! That is what I do for all of my ads. I have all of them in their own seperate channel so I can tell how they are converting.
it is too early to tell whether it made any difference or not. give it few days and take the average as adsense earnings flactuate from one day to another
That is very true. Every test you do should be due for awhile to make sure you get enough information to make an educated decision if the change you made is working.

Maybe another possibility is that the figure is supposed to drop due to lower cpc but because of your effort to double the ctr, you are getting back to square one.
