Used very bright colors in design, try to use light colors. It is hard to get visitors with these colors. and, try to fix width to desktop size. Width is too high,
I certainly applaud your dedication to this project, it takes a lot of imagination to take something like this a run with it. However, the design of your page is not going to attract people and get them where you want them to be, which is in the forum and to play the game (Which I have linked to from one of my blogs...funny stuff) to buy the hats. You may be better off with either a professional designer, pre made template, or a free word press theme. It is not very professional looking. It is a brilliant idea. You need to work on some of the functions in the game, and I think that you should allow people to play an unlimited amount of times, with the option to purchase the hat above the restart button. I am not sure how much longevity a forum would have, but what they heck, you have come this far with it, why not ? Also, I am not crazy about the video gallery on the side that takes people away from the site...if you were ussing word press, you could have a side bar widget that plays the videos without leaving the site, or, you could try the You Tube video bar. The overall principle is brilliant...play the game, and buy the hat. I think that with the right links from political lampoon and humor sites, you could do something with it. First and foremost is to work on the design, sorry, but it is pretty awful.
