How Long To Get To Page 1 Of Google....??

Over the past few months I have been experimenting with different ways to get to page 1 of Google....

I think that Google updates their index about every hour or so...

Does anyone else know how long it takes to get into Google's index once I have published a web page?

 

within few hours.. one of the fastest way is to upload your index using their webmaster tool. I manage to index all my 5000+ pages within less than a week.

On the other hand to get page 1 of Google SERP is not that hard too. Depending on your targeted keyword or key phrases. Basically the less/none competitive keyword is way much easier compares to popular one.. Try it with your own name for instance..

 

A few hours is a little long for me. As I mentioned, I have seen results within an hour but I am really interested in knowing if anyone has tested this down to the minute?

I want to know how many minutes it takes to get into the index.....

As for getting to page 1, I know how to do that very well already....

I already use Twitter as a way to notify Google of updates on my blogs.... Have you ever tested to see how long it takes to get indexed through Twitter?

twitter is the fastest mate submit then check your account it is there fast

 

I haven't really tried using that tool, I heard that there are faster ways to do it....? What do you think?

Yeah twitter is a great way to get it indexed fast but ranking on the first page has hundreds of variables. It all depends on your keyword as far as how hard it is to get on the first page.

 

I agree I use the twitter updater plug in for WP blogs it slams content each time

 

Yesterday I've put up a forum, it took 10 minutes..
Copy pasted a few topics to populate the categories, it took 1 hour..
Commented on a PR4 blog post, the site was indexed in 15 minutes..
Used my facebook credit to advertise on Facebook...
Checked it 15 minutes later and there was 348 visitors online. It didn't have less than 100 people online at a time since then.

However, that was my first forum and now I know that forums just don't make money.

 

It depends on how hard you are working for it.
