How would I add keywords to my site?

    Hi

    I have been recommended by many to add more keywords to my site to boost my search engine ranking. Could someone please advise me on how this could be done. Is it the same as adding tags?

    Pick a keyword in which you are aiming to rank well. Write an article based on it with a density of 4-7%.

    4 - 7 % you say? I thought it should always be kept below 5%...

    also, does keyword density include meta tags and title?

    Sorry to ask but could you please clarify what you mean by density? Is it the proportion of my chosen keyword to the total no. of words in the article? :confused:

    yeh it is

    so if you had 1000 words and your keyword appeared ten times, you would have a density of 1%

    easy as that!
