WP Themes Problem Casino Link appeared in Blogroll

    I encountered this problem twice already with some WordPress Themes I downloaded after installing the theme it has Casino Link Inserted in Blogroll. What will I do to delete that? It still appear even if I deleted.

    I'm sure it is hard coded in the php coding and not just under the blog roll itself. If you want I can take a look at it for you, because it's hard to say how they put it in there without looking at how the code is!

    If you want to use that free WP theme then you have to keep that link intact IMO otherwise use another free WP theme.

    Yeap thats true but if its hard coded then he can't move it to footer as well :rolleyes:

    Guys It's hard coded and I'm afraid of getting banned by that casino link. I just make the link private so it will not appear again in the blogroll. Do you think it's right? Am I safe on that?

    If the link comes with theme (free theme sponsored) then you have to give linkback as you are using free theme with sponsors. If you don't want that link then better you search for another free WP theme and use it at your blog IMO.

    How about you contact the creator and talk to him about it. Maybe he'll allow it if not ask how much it would be so you can remove it!
