I've been working on a social network for warez called Wazle.org, and I was just wondering what you all thought of it. I'm not all that great with web designing, but I know people who will help me, and I'll try my best Please comment on anything, from the design of the site, to the site colours, the easy of navigation (or lack there of), content, layout, features, etc.... good and bad reviews welcome, don't be shy lol. Thanks, oh, and we're also looking for posters, Moderators, uploaders, linkers, etc. if you're interested just PM or join the site.
The text box for the email and password under the member login tab is sticking out of the left column and overlapping some text in the middle column you should fix this. I think the site would look better if you add a header with a logo and some graphics.
Looks similar to facebook is my intial reaction I would suggest: 1) Add a logo 2) Add fav icon 3) Add more features and pics Best of luck with the site! Kind Regards
Thank you all for your great ideas! @Kingofsanda - what browser are you using? It's not doing that for me, and I'm using FF3, IE7, Chrome, Safari, and it looks fine for me. Can you please give me a little more info? @mrhrk01 & Kingofsanda - So I guess the whole 'facebook' look is not what I should be going for? Be unique, stay away from copying Facebook right lol? I won't worry too much about the favicon right now, because I don't think it's as important as the other things. What kind of Header are you talking about? like a regular header with my logo to the left? Care to give me some examples? I really like Digg's simple header (and colours [fav colour is green]). What do you mean it needs more features? Wazle has many features, but you have to be logged in to see and access them of course. Such as: - Groups (members can create groups of their interest) - Tutorials (members can can create and view tutorials [non-members can only view]) - Market (members can sell/trade/buy items from other members) - Invites (members can trade/give away links to beta sites) - Polls (members can view and create polls) - Warez Forums (members can create, view and download warez/files) - Profile (members have their own customizable profile [can change their avatar, add and invite friends, customize profile layout, etc.) - Inbox (members can msg other members with on the site) - Instant Messenger (members can IM their friends, hardly any site has this) - And a lot more... Dear RyanSethemy nice to know that you are running a social site and just now i have visited your site and its really nice site, if you add a site logo,a fav icon etc.. as our friend "mrhrk01" said above.These small small things will brings more potentiality to your site which will make your site more popular but Ryan I have checked your site thoroughly and found some security problems, if you would correct these problems it will help you from Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) Attacks And from other hackers i have not written the whole problem here because it may catch the eyes of the hacker and it will create problems for u but u r a developer and you know about this very well hope you will check your server security settings.If you don't mind i want to be a Moderator of your website,if you like then only. What about a logo/slogan? Also, the forum, I eventually plan on redesigning it. And I have a lot of features that I eventually plan to add to the site, such as Tools ->Site whois, Rank checker, other useful webmaster tools; videos; music; and advertising, and a few other items, but I don't want to get too complicated just yet. I wanna stick to the basics, and get the good content first. So if anyone is interested, I'm looking for more moderators, for each one of my forums, Groups, and other parts of the site. Looks like Facebook. The design is simple and okay for now. If your network grows you better upgrade everything.
That was my initial idea: Keep it basic until it grows, then upgrade the looks and stuff. Content is key I believe, then worry about the design. Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions!

I put up a better theme, I think - go check out and tell me what you all think. I plan on changing the navigation to have more drop down menus for the important parts of my site. I haven't created a logo for Wazle yet (feel free to design me one lol). PS: I'm posting on here via my Wii
