I don't think there will be any problem with Adsense, maybe it's worth emailing them to check. The only two countries I'd really bother blocking are China and Iran.

 

for some reason, when you block some countries, your adsense earnings go up.

 

that is becuase google likes quality traffic from countries like usa uk etc.

it should be common practice for proxy webmasters to block traffic from certain countries.

 

does anyone know of a cheap banner rotation script that will serve banners from a central location? I've got a plan to use a rotation script for the footer of my proxified pages and so far all the scripts I run across either use incompatible code or take a degree to setup.

 

I have noticed that some cgi proxy site with ssl certificate have begun charging visitors a monthly fee using their sites. I am thinking do almost about the same think. However, I would like to use cpalead instead of asking the visitors to pay. I still need to do a cost and benefit analysis. Anyone has any suggestion?

i think cpalead offer a page blocker to get to the content, you could prob use this as a membership pass for them to get into the area where they can use your proxy.

 

So I should block China and Iran? How would I go by finding out the IP's to block...

 

Thanks! I took a look at their demo but they're using php and javascript for inserting the banner code. So far from all the demos I checked on other sites the only thing I can get to work in the bottom spot for adbrite is with an iframe. I tried methods with the php tags but...no luck.

If you can use adsense on your site with no problem then you can use the script. If you need need iframe, why not just use the javascript inside an iframe?

This is for the bottom of the proxified pages. It won't allow me to use a javascript code from the banner manager to load a javascript adcode

Yes I charge money to use mine also.
I charge only $1.99, and made only about 20 sales last month, people are Skin flints when it comes to spending a buck online. I even bought bought a $125 link on proxy.org to get some extra traffic to the site. The site is Libertybell.biz. I wouldn't expect to make a great deal from it unless you have a huge site like Vtunnel or something already. For now using adsense and stuff is probably the best way to monetize a proxy.

 

the traffic from proxy.org is somewhat pointless these days, its all from iran etc and perhaps thats whynothing converted.
