my site has been up for 20 days, i also started on the first day i signed with my host decided to agree to the affiliate program, now for some reason i didnt think about this ever since, and today i recieve an email from my host telling me i have givin my referal link to 80 unique people, and im being rewarded with 100USD. can someone explain to me... is this normal? lol
i honest to god, didnt give the referal link to anyone, other then now, which is in my signature. this is why i feel this like a gift or god send or what? free 100USD doesnt happen everyday
Well i think there must be something wrong then, because a user with 21 posts isn't going to get enough coverage to get 80 people... How did they pay? PayPal? Has it all cleared? Regards, Tom
it will be a cheque or paypal, no it hasnt been cleared yet, im awaiting them to deposit or send the money. im telling everyone this is so strange.
I think affiliate link is not allowed, but it is my mistaken: # Don't spam the forum with things like: * Affiliate links (they are allowed in signatures though)
Maybe this is due to their system error? Do you try to tell them the real story? Sometimes their system will randomly chose any affiliate partner whenever there is people sign up for hosting at their site.So,i think you're in this case.
yeh , something happened in their software. i was looking forword to use that money in opening up a VIP section . i guess not. but still kinda funny
when i request a withdraw they have to process a ticket and obviously review by a human, and obviously they asked me if i had hacked their software, but i did not so they reviewed it more and yes there was an error. so yeah i didnt get any money. owell still kinda funny that they thought i would try hack me host?
they still got their extra promotion from you though.. after realizing that you could make money, you promoted them heavily, even in this post [?] so maybe its a trick by them?
yeh aparently i dont get a cent for refering people to the index, only if they sign up and pay for a package... which is kinda unfair because i found the link that i got 80 people visiting from mm maybe i should complain some more and say i deserve at least a percentage?
