strange ebay email

    i got a email stating
    eBay Item Not Received Dispute Opened for Item #9303607451

    Dear member :
    shadow69696 has informed eBay that they have not yet received item

    this is linked to a crap ip address, trying to make a fool of me.
    i din't bother to visit the link, coz i am not sure it mite even have some hacking stuff.

    143.225.151.214

    just posted to know if anyone experienced such a email.

    i dont even use ebay and they have send the email to me at a address with which i dont have a ebay account, so its 100% sure fraud email.

    There are so many eBay and PayPal scam e-mails floating around the internet

    I just think it is hilarious when they send it to people without an account :)

    yea, i get about 10 of those ebay/paypal phishing emails everyday. apparently i need to verify my paypal account everyday! :)

    I remember once even I had some kinda mail from paypal. I just ignored it. But incase I get them in future where to report fake paypal emais?
