Today is the last day of the 2008 and while it's been a year of downwards spirals for the U.S. economy the start of 2009 may take our economy to even further depths.. What are you bracing for as the new years kicks in ? I am going to be bracing for the increase in crime where I live.. Things have been especially hard in NYC and have only been getting worst with the decline of the US economy and job cuts about to be in effect... thing's do not look good for the start of 09... Here comes the worse...
I am bracing for lower online earnings which is bad, I am doing something about it and I hope it will be successful.
lower earnings is going to continue happening for another 6months or so. Once Obama gets comfortable in office and starts figuring things out and gets them stimulus checks out we should be ok once again.
Yes, earnings are bit low recent days. This is a global crisis. This is a part of Economic cycle and it should be fine after sometime.
I think this will be a great year, many historical changes on the horizon. Of course, there are enormous challenges, but this will make change necessary and therefore possible. Things may look bleak, but I feel the trajectory is up.

Financially it will be bad of course, but don't let that sink your spirit, rise through it, and before you know it, everything should be back to normal. Just make sure you don't lose your job

Yes, it will get worse before it starts to get better. However, many fortunes are made in this down swing economy. Real Estate will adjust and there will be many bargains. In other area's as well. As for online, my income has gone up the past 2 months....
I agree. Spending wisely would be the best thing to do. I use up close to $40-50 a month just on my phone bills.
I'm bracing for the CRAP economy that we're about to have - YES EVEN WORSE - because now we dont have HOLIDAY DOLLARS. We never did, but now its about to get bad.
