Hi, I have been working on a game in school for awhile now called "Run Your Own Business!". I have almost finished it and it has many features. I need some advice on what to do with it. Should I... Sell copies of it (If so would you buy it?). Release it for open source. Host it for others to play. Try it out for yourself: http://bizgame.drennansoft.com I have worked on this game since August for my business class. It is very realistic (I had my teacher assist me with it and he is very experienced with business aspects). I also had my class play it and they all loved it. Thanks in advance, -Matt
How much you would be selling the script for, and how would you sell it. Yearly, monthly, or eternity? All together it does look like a well put together script. Good luck to you.
Yes, it needs a bit more detailed documentation. I have been working on that. I would sell it for around $25 for a eternity. ______________________________ Thanks for the input
It is a very simple yet cool idea. You might want to work on the design a little more but other then that, its kinda nice. Please pm me though when you start selling it, i would like to buy it and be one of the first.
Thanks, We will be working very hard on it. We will also give free updates for life to anyone who buys it. I'll be sure to contact you
What are you selling for that price? All rights? non-exclusive usage rights? And how does the game work? I created an account, bought a share of stock and that was about all I could figure out.
When you buy the script for $25 you buy the rights to: Non-exclusive rights Use the menus at the top of the game such as Home, Store, and Market to progress your store. In the home menu will see Skip Day which will be Progress Day soon. This will collect all money you earned that day. It is not always good because something bad might happen such as a hurricane or a tornado. You could also have good days and receive money from sponsors ect. Your stats at the side are important to keep in top shape. So to get them up you must buy supplies, such as food, water, paper, pencils, and more from other players. That's just some quick tips
I can't buy something I cannot see. You need to post your link in your site if you want serious buyers.
lol uhh, don't you first have to see it before saying that? Oh, man. Funny stuff on this board. I'll put your site in my favorites for the future, DrennanSoftware. Good luck with it.
Really? Huh. Not from my view, there isn't. Do I hear Twilight Zone music playing? *listens out in the distance*
