IMO, i think DupeCop shows the percentage of usage of same words as the original one...something like that, not sure. Copyscape just checks whether the words of the duplicate or re-written source doesn't come in the same order as the original one(max limit is 3 words)

Copyscape is used to check for originality of the work, and provides proof of a plagiarism free content. Dupecop is used to compare re-written PLR articles, which will eventually aid an author in writing contents that SEs can't detect as duplicate content.

So, both can't be used for the same purpose?
If I am an article spinner, which one should I use to check my rewritten article's quality?

    @ dodolls:

You mean Copyscape is taking humans as viewers and Dupecop is taking Search engines as viewers???

You may use both services. If your client requires a certain percentage from the source, then you need dupecop to determine that percentage. You then need to check that with copyscape to make sure that even your re-written article does not have any duplicates. Might be another re-written article from another spinner.

These are applications running with algorithms so they are not really reading articles like humans, but finding matches to conclude the originality of the article. Hope this helps.
