I don't post here too often - but I was just wondering how often you guys check your stats. I used to have an obsession [literally 10 times a day] that took away from my production - so I don't check my stats anymore until I write xxx amount of articles. What about you guys?
What are you talking about......10 times is not obsessive.........I hope it's not obsessive......that means I'm obsessive! I generally use a script which reports back to me when I've made a sale/affiliate sale but I have a couple of other accounts without a script on it which I check a couple of times a day. I know I should do less checking and more working!
It is a sickness that many of us have. Sometimes I find myself checking and I had just checked. Subconscious browsing.... One of my 2009 goals is to check 3 times/day. Unless it is a new product and then i plan on checking about every 10 minutes.
Obsession is a good word for it, addiction works well too. At least 3-5 times a day. Strangely though my obsession is only with adsense. I often get checks from my affiliate marketing sites I didn't know was coming because I didn't even check them once during the month.
too often. funny how when you obsess the sales don't happen. and then when you forget to check em you get a ton of sales!
hey terryd, what is the script you use mate? I know there is a plugin for firefox but i've never heard of a script. would love to have it
I use http://www.cbautomator.com it seems to work well, you just set it up to check your account after a specified amount of time and it will send you an email if you have made sale or sales. I must admit however that even with the script I still check my account or run the script manually just for fun.........sick I know
lol @ 50+ times. I'm probably close to there too spread across many accounts, but only in small portions in the day or when spikes are happening (which is often/random) and aff's are climbing on board in bunches... It would be my dream to add: * Mother accounts: To view all CB accounts under one login with smart analytics over all accounts and great mining tools to dig data well/easily. * Open access to internal communications with other members * Daily and monthly email notification of requested customized reporting (i.e. a sheet with sales for all accounts, and then broken down per account/affiliate/graphing trends etc. * Better quality control of their tracking/CRM and RMS. ** One can dream... N.
Depends on the day... Believe it or not, the days where no money is being made, I probably check my stats more than I should. The days where money is being made, I will probably check less knowing that the day was somewhat profitable. TheForexGuy
Unfortunately for me, I check at least twice an hour. One of my resolutions is to knock it down to only a couple times per day. It gets in the way of getting work done.
I've found something that works: and it might work for you guys if you have obsessive clickbank checking disorder (OCCD) My personal remedy: #1: Go to Google, and type in Clickbank Earnings and find an earnings image that's similar to your goal. #2: Put this on a photobucket account or on a personal blog, so you can look it up on the internet. #3: Everytime you feel like checking your stats - just look at images. When i do this, I tend to say to myself: "I'm no where close to this image, so why even check?", my earnings are probably pennies compared to this image i'm looking at anyways. That always does it for me. thought u should try it out. The more I look at it, the more I get used to it, and when i actually do check my account (which lately has been once every three days), I don't get too high or too low, because it's nowhere close to what I want to see anyways.
2-3 times a day, which is normal I think For "Clickbank stats checking addicts", I remember someone on this forum shared a great Mozilla addon, which shows your earnings in the bottom right corner. Omg, I forgot how it is called
