INDIA is going to attack Pakistan

I'm surprised to see this thread get so much of attention. I know the current Indian government better than most people in this forum and I can assure that there won't be a large scale war. Precision attacks on terrorist camps are a possibility, but the chances of that happening are very, very slim. So, no need to come up with hypothetical 'what if' theories.

 

Damn you're right, the war will be more devastating than I thought a few minutes ago..

Here what I think:
Pakistan's current situation does not permit it to stand in war for more than 7 days. So soon enough Pakistan will be broke and won't be able to continue.
But they will not surrender either. As soon as it happens the Pakistan military will be left with just two options.

1) Launch a nuclear strike on India - In that case we can assume a total destruction of Pakistan and India will suffer hard as well. The south Asian region, specially Indian subcontinent will never be the same again (in a sad way)

Or

2) Pakistan will fall into Taliban's hand - Military will turn to Taliban, throw it's democratically elected government and hand the rule over to Taliban. Now even India wins the battle, it loses the war because the situation is even more hostile for it. since Taliban doesn't care about international sanctions or anything they will wage war against India and India will pay heavily in the term of both economy and casualty.

 

Sounds like some shitty options you've outlined there. Peace really is the proper way to go, IMHO.

Two bordering countries with nuclear capabilities discussing war is too dangerous.

 

These shitty options give me shudders.

I doubt, India has way better economy, GDP and growth than Pakistan.
So unless the war turns into nuke war, Pakistan will be hit harder than India. India can recover fast.
