Hi guys, I'm launching my new proxy site http://www.collegepass.info The proxy is using glype script with pretty much default setting. It works on online video site like youtube but it doesn't works well on megavideo. Do you have any idea of how to improve my site supports on video site ? My second question is how to reduce the pop-up frequency of adversal ads so it won't bother the visitor too much. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

If you look a few pages back, I think someone mentioned that proxy.org delivers traffic from Iran, Turkey etc that in turn lowers your adsense earnings due to smart pricing. In my opinion, if proxy.org can make you back the cost and bring you profits while your site is listed there, then go for it if you are just looking to make a fast quick buck. But if you are looking for long term promotion, proxy.org may not be the way to go. People who visit proxy sites probably would just go back to the proxy list site to pick a new proxy, hence chances of your proxy getting recurring visitors from proxy.org is gonna be rare.
If you change the 10 to say 5 or 4, it will be less frequent. Alternatively you could probably code Glype to only load the adversal code every 5 page loads.

Lol, for my network is doesn't really matter when they come back. There're always proxy users out there. So keep advertising during vacations!
Try to change take template. I notice that the ctr of the template will be low. For traffic,you much need to target particular group of yahoo and google. Be wise,don't join all the group that majority have proxy owner. You also can buy advertisement at proxy.org,i have buy ads from there for 1 year for my proxy and it work out great

anyone using phproxy with javascript enabled? is there any effect for BW with or without javascript support?
Looks like google has updated PR. I noticed something odd: google gave me a higher PR on sites that have only been promoted via my own newsletters than it did on sites that had been promoted through the newsletter AND all the proxy lists, etc. The latter getting 2 to 3 times the traffic, of course. Not that I really care about PR..it's more for amusement
Of course since most proxy users and even owners don't realize if they enable javascript that youtube videos can be watched. Once users find out they can watch videos then you will see a higher usage of bandwidth.
