hello, my website sometimes gets hijacked and redirected to like yellowpages.com and jamster.com, how can I fix this problem?
inspect your files for suspicious code. change your cpanel passwords and don't tell anyone. ask your host if they know why this is happening.
Also on top of what sawz has said! Check all file permissions on the files in your site files. And upgrade all your old scripts or plugins. Do you have any old junkie scripts in your server web root? Sometimes hackers use old scripts or the input forms on those to execute code on your server. Boulder
Some of your web forms may not be converting code into entities, allowing people to submit functioning code to your server. Try reading up on HTML Entities.
i contacted my fabulous host and they didn't really help. If it redirects to jamster.com and superpages.com like 1/20 times. Is that necessarily a hijacking? I know it works on my friends computers too, it redirects. Do I have to look for suspicious code through all of my files? What would I have to look for?
are you running any ad campaigns? advertising code for anyone else besides yourself? any extra files in your folder that don't belong? whats the url to your site?
In the name Of the Allah Hello, Some month ago I had this problem, I think that a person can login to your host and edited you files, In first change password of account, next edit your all files that are in you host and you should find a cod that it redirect to athoer sites and clean that.
well i think you should check with your web hosting if there is any technical problem with it..for example im using hostmonster if my site have been hijacked at least they will alert me or shut the site down temporary.
