I found an interesting thing, the domain Gbuy.com is not registered with Google, but is registered with Trout and Zimmer, Now a Google Search for this and I found this and this, Both of these links have a mention on how the domain gcalendar.com was transferred by Trout & Zimmer to Data Docket Inc, a firm well known for registering domain names with Google as part of the name. As my search advanced, I found a very interesting thing, this was an exclusive list of domains that was owned by Google Inc. Yes Our very Own Google Inc.! Yea google owns blogger. They bought them in 2002. You can read on it in the about page on blogger.com
That list tells me one thing...... In the mind of Google, the most valuable domain name extensions are .com .net and .org....... and the others are only bought in rare instances.... I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is the same train of thought in their algorithm when it comes to weight and domain extensions...
They also own gooogle.com, but its seems like someone else got goooogle.com. It goes to some spammy parked page. Interestingly, one more "o" redirects back to the google home page (gooooogle.com). Six "o" s goes to another parked page. Are these owned by Google? It actually takes this http://www.goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooogle.com to get to "page not found". Everything else is used by someone. lmao.
