not very easy. there are very big wm forums. if i were you, i would create a forum for a specific content like design, php, etc.

That sector is a very hard one to crack,i would also suggest a niche in that sector and i think that could work well.

As others have said, you could get more specific with your forums to start out with, then build on that. DP started out as a forum related to some webmaster tools that they had developed. It kind of snowballed from there based on my understanding. Pick a topic you are experienced with, and go with it.

You might look into paid forum posting. It is a good way to get content onto your website, and make it appear active to other potential visitors. It can be expensive, but it is about the only way to get a forum jump started if you don't have a handful of partners involved with you.

unfortunately i dont have any partners in this one.. :(

so you guys think paid posting would do well on this one? =X

im more comfortable with a webmasters forum rather than the more specific niche like php coding, java, css, or other technical stuff.. lol :D

In forums, niche is the way to go. Call all your friends to participate in forum and make it look active.

No paid posting never helps, you will be better off having a resource section though (you can spend the money to have good quality articles)
