You will not beleive it but some of my internal pages with articles didn't rank but my resource page having others links did, i was amazed with the results.

I don't know what google algo has in mind :?

 

Dont't understimate this piece of SEO,
it really has a good effect.

 

1. better Internal linking can help crawlability but it won't affect the rankings much.
2. Better navigation for both users and bots
3. no such thing as good or bad, Just think about user experience first and treat bots as users.
