Is it possible to get *.php from a server???

    I had some custom made scripts for my site. My host was taken down recently without prior notice. For some reason the website is functional till 31st. So, I have a day to get those php files without any ftp login.
    Is it possible to do it??

    Yeah if you can SSH into your server, tar -cf archive.tar *.php

    If you only have web-access to the server, then no.
    If you have access to the files, FTP SSH or something else, then you can just use that.

    if you have ftp access you can use core-ftp or any such client to get *.php

    otherwise you can write a php program which zip them and give you a http download link
