Recently, my cell phone was stolen, and I freaked out.(I was able to get it back with police help) My whole life is in my cell phone and my computer. What would happen if technology collapsed? Would we all run around panicing like a drug addict without drugs?::rolleyes:

We'd probably go back to having sex and drinking.

I can't imagine that and don't even want to imagine that will happen. Without computer, my life will be so boring and I need to find a real life job because my entire earning are 100% from the Internet.

If there was no technology, I guess there wouldn't be much to work for!

I don't think I am at a point where I would need a PC to breathe. Sure, I like being on my PC, but I could live just fine without it ;) - *Breaks webmaster code of conduct* :D

We will learn to live without technology. Air and water are most precious, not technology.

    Thats funny!

OMG I can't imagine hitting the highway without a cell phone. What about emergencies?

I don't really remember how we traveled before without a cell phone. I think we just never traveled anywhere alone (on road trips that is).

Reminds of the time, years ago, when the power to our computerized cash registers went down and I was the only one in the department that knew how to count back change.

I think I could get along without the cell phone better than I could the computer. I'm ashamed to even mention that I use to swear I would never have a computer in the house. Now we have 3!

Well, if they didn't exist then of course I could live without them, but if I knew they were out there and I couldn't get my hands on one, I would be very angry!!

I can survive without a cell phone now. I canceled everything except voice that I needed... at first I missed sending 30-40 text messages a day and browsing the internet on my cell when I was bored but with the current state of the economy (and my wallet), I'm liking the savings more. I'm paying a little over $30 now for my plan compared to around $50 before.

As for my computer, I could never live without it. Not a chance!
