Would love some feedback on a new forum!

    Hello all!

I just launched a new forum recently, and it's geared towards internet marketing with a heavy emphasis on site flipping. I know there are 10 million similar forums, but I'm not real worried about competition, as this forum was made for a specific group of people that I know. On the other hand, I obviously wouldn't mind growing a nice large forum, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

I know I need a nice logo...but what do you think about the overall layout and "look and feel"?

Thanks for any feedback/advice - this is my first vbulletin forum (lots to learn!).

Good site. I think I would remove the word old from the forums with no posts. Maybe just keep those blank. Marking them as new is good but if there aren't any new post visitors may think the site is not that active.

Ah, thanks for your input! Definitely something to consider...because psychological behavior of a user is absolutely something to keep in mind. It's funny how we all turn into 12 year old A.D.D. kids when using the internet...our attention spans go right down the drain!

Anyway, thanks again, I'll be keeping this in mind :)

Actually, I reverted back to the default vbulletin skin while I make some adjustments. On the other hand, I REALLY like the look and feel of the default skin (probably because I'm so comfortable with DP).

Would it be kosher to leave it as the default colors? I know it's not creative...but it's VERY user friendly and familiar. Your thoughts would be appreciated!

The forum looks extremely generic because this template is being used on many
forums on the net. If you don't want to get a different template you should customize
this template by replacing the vBulletin logo with your own logo and changing up the color scheme.

    Hey there!

Yeah, I actually had a paid skin on it with a custom logo...but I wasn't feeling a good vibe from it. I reverted back to the default skin while I ponder my next move.

What I was saying is that I like the layout of the default skin...I would just like to find it in a different color. If you know of a place...that would be great!

    Decisions decisions...

I would recommend customisation (including a new logo and template)

    Kind Regards

The forum is well organised, uses a good colour scheme, nice layout, and clean.
