Excellent! I love the way you give feedback, that logo was just something to test the waters, wait for my revision!
Thanks, I'll try to keep the thread updated with recent feedback for all participants so everyone has an idea of where they stand and can make revisions if they see fit. To those of you that have entered so far: good work!
Thank you for the feedback. Here you have a new logo, more game related in 2 versions. The game controler is original, I made it.
Updated Feedback: Coden: This revision is looking much better, great job. However, although I adore your choice of font and colours I do think the text looks out of place in the bubble. The opening in the background isn't really distinguished as being anything really. Try some other things and post a couple ideas at once maybe, see which of them I like best. So far you're is one of my favourite though, so good work. Fantazio: Hm, what is it that is now on the "G?" All I can see is dots and I'm not really sure what they are. I love the lights, that was a neat idea but it still needs some gaming icon(s) or symbolism. Remember, try and make it scream gaming - that's what people want to see on a game site. Ploomer: The custom controller looks fantastic! The second revision in your post with the bubble and controller is nice but well, for one, it's "Game Blurb" not the plural and also having it simply resting above isn't really trying everything together. Try and unite the logo and it's symbols together with the text (name of the site) still remaining the focus hopefully, that is important, no? Great work on the revisions, can't wait to see any more entries and/or revisions!
Phyza: Not sure what it is to be honest. It's not really relating to gaming for me at all. I do like the choice in colours though and the finish on whatever that object is on the left there. Maybe try something else. Still accepting entries!
untitledstudios: The grenade idea is a little random for me - isn't really fitting in my head. The text looks alright I suppose but looks like it could have been made by one of those text generators online. It has that flashy look to it, not something I'm a fan of. Thanks for the entry.
Thanks for the feedback. The opening of the background was a joystick (but didn't come out very well )
Zepia: Colours aren't working for me! They seem a little bright and like they clash, so maybe try fixing that up. Outside of that it looks similar to the first version. And while I do like it, it's not significant enough to win me over. untitledstudios: The text generator remark wasn't meant as an insult - however, the original text just had that 'look' about it. Anyhow, I think the colour choices were a little bold but it turned out nice. The logo is a little boring for me though. Nothing really stands out. Coden: Not sure how I feel about the new "B" on the end of "blurb" right now. Hmm, I do like the direction you're going with what looks like making it a side-ways controller. Maybe you could represent both 'holes' in the letter B using what could sort of be like analog sticks; like it looks like you've sorta done. Maybe try integrating a start/select button on the gamepad too so that it is distinguishable as something, but not crowded. So far your design has me pretty hooked, good job.
@Maevn Please give me some feedback on my last one. I tried to connect the controller to the dialog box
