Anyone ever "steal" backlinks... from either: 1) Signing up on a site's automatic link request form, getting on there, and not reciprocating 2) On a link exchange... you exchange links, and once they link to you... you delete them 3) Sure you link to them.... but you stick in the "nofollow"!! 4) The "Indian Giver" technique... basically, you say "Sure I'll give you a backlinks back"... and then never do! Anyone ever use these techniques???
That's just shallow... IMO anyways, if you can't stay true to your word - why should anyone trust you? I also think you titling it "Indian Giver" is racially charge.. and it's just not nice - it's Christmas also buddy I have a feeling you've been ripped off by one, but such thoughts should be kept to yourself or reported to the proper authorities, and not fired up in public forums. I'm not a link pirate but I know theyre out there! Also, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_giver
This is educational...didn't know the expression existed and all the way from 1765...you learn everyday that the world is indeed a nastier place than you realised.
qouted from http:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_giver as provided by LinkMasterFlash "The phrase is considered a racial stereotype and is often offensive, as it implies that Native Americans commonly practiced this behavior."
Not to be confused with the Indians from India... who are cheap as hell and wouldnt give you anything in the first place!!! Yeah I said it!!!
Im just waitin for the uproar, this forum is dominated by Indians!! Theyre gonna all move out of India and take over soon!!!! And like the song said Cherokee Nation will return!!!
Are you serious? Even Indians admit it Look at this Indian comedian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKqdIDxoWBE He even admits it.... its a wide-known fact Indians are the cheapest people in the world!!!!
Probably should have just used the words "Scum Bag" or "Scammer" or "Cheater" in place of the words you used.. That way there would be no implied race or creed and people would not be trying to associate it as such.. Even though I know those words do truly mean any one that takes back what they have first given... Many others might not have grow up using that slang for that meaning. We used to use those words when we were kids, and it meant no thing directed to a race.. it just simply meant that you are now taking, or wanting to take back what first was given outright. But times have changed, and the corners of once private sectors have gone more global and therefore need to talk more proper. As for trading links, yes! I have had that happen a few times with trading links.. That is just part of being a Webmaster.. that is why I check on any link trades often or use a script that checks them, and if find my link gone? Well, than their link too goes buy-buy real quick. Im goofin around I really do like Indians... but I do business with them and was shocked to learn the stereotype... Everyone I've met that's in sales and this topic comes up says the same thing..... Now as for "Native Americans"... have you guys heard about the new Indian Wine?? "We want our land back!"
This coming from you and you have "OMFG" as your favicon? Of course, offending Christians and Jews with your reference to God is fair game, right?
