1st Page on Google But No Traffic

I'm on 1st page 3rd position if you are using google.uk with "pages from uk" option.

Now I see what the reason is. Even if you are ranking 1st with conditions like the "search only the pages from UK" applied, it wouldn't help. Your KW has an overall search volume of 45K on Google but no on knows how many of this come from UK alone and how many of them turn the "search only the pages from UK" button on.

You will have to wait for Google to rank you better on the first page no conditions applied.

This is a strange example - you should be getting alot of traffic for this. Are you using Google Analytics to get your traffic stats? If not are you sure they are accurate? You should even be getting some traffic at number 22. Just had a look you are 23 in pages from UK now. Your title tags are good, no reason why people wouldnt be clicking on you. My advice - carry on optimising for this keyword! Should start seeing traffic soon.

 

Also, I've had a look at your site, and you don't have any pictures, homepage is abit bare. Adding some won't help you get more clicks but hopefully will decrease your bounce rate, people may be tempted to leave as (personally) I don't think the site is that nice looking - use miniclip as an example, lots of colour etc, draws the user in. There are a few things you are missing out on. Probably you need to figure out how you can improve your ranking from being on the 3rd position on Google UK when "pages from UK" switched on.

You have a very good number of backlinks, even I would envy. But the sour truth is you still need to work towards getting your site on the first page without using the PAGES FROM UK button and quotes for your search term.

You need to figure out why your Google PR is so low despite having thousands of backlinks. How good are they, is another concern you should think about.

Other industry reputed metrics like Alexa ranking and Quantcast ranking are not in your favor although they have their proprietary algorithms.

You must think of using article marketing as they give you permanent back links and a bit of popularity/respect.

Work over these points, I am sure, you don't have to complain nor will you need to use that PAGES FROM UK ONLY option again.

hello i check your site keyword this not google top ten then mostly visitor onl search google 10 rankings. So you will try more effective and good ways used........

 

It seems that nobody is choosing the 'Pages from the UK' when they search, which makes sense. Why would they?

Keep working hard to get your site up in the world SERPs. You'll get there!

 

I would stop focusing on why that keyword is not performing for you and start optimization for more, maybe a little better keyword research before jumping into seo wouldnt hurt too. However I did the search using ad preview tool for the uk and couldnt find you on the first page.

 

It looks like I'm on 3rd page of Google "pages from UK" since yesterday...
I wonder why..
Anyway...thank you all for your advice...one thing is for sure...I still have a lot of work to do, on design and SEO.
I dont know whats wrong with Alexa, as I had 800k rank ans the number of visitors has increased but my alexa rank has decreased.

sorry, i can't see your website on 22 rank

 

Make sure your Meta Description tag is good and tempts people to look at your site (not at a competitors) once it comes up in the search list.

 

SERP are keep on updating.
Number of visitor increase not mean that your alexa ranking will be better because other website might be increase more. It is not same as PR
