What do you think about the millitary power of your country?

Say which countries you expect to win against? With reasons of course and specs of millitary power if possible.

I am from India and I feel we are powerful than except a very few countries.

i too agree with you , we have already discussed alot of this issue and it always leads to fight and lots of infractions to people

USA, Russia, China are listed on many sites, for having the most powerful and largest army in the world. Maybe China is not well equipped as USA and Russia but they also have big defense budget and a large army size.

India and Pakistan, both countries have nuclear weapons so they are surely get respected by other countries military forces. Right now, Pakistan and India tension rising over the Mumbai massacre. They need to avoid another war with each other.

 

If mods feel they can always close it. Infact I should have search before as you guys said.

its very hard to say who is most powerful

but yes America seems to be strongest among all

after then among china, India, Russia & UK

you can not rank anyone as each country has some or

other thing more than each other

 

I think Romania can probably take down Monaco

According to the NATO Turkish Army is the second largest army, after the US Army in NATO also Turkish Army is the largest army in Europe.

 

The USA has amassed a large enough nuclear arsenal to kill all life on the planet. I guess that makes us the big winners.

I second that thought- the numbers are waaaaay off mark in some cases- for instance, there are 42- million Indian personnel fit for fighting according to that link!

mmmhh... too many filthy riches own nice flats there... I'm sure a good reason will be found for foreign powers to protect Monaco's democracy and freedom. Better try Luxembourg or Liechstenstein.

I'm from the US and it is fair to say that our military is the strongest in the world. I would expect that we could win a war against any country if we really wanted to. Unfortunately, our military is being used to fight "the war on terror". That is a war that will never end and no one wins.
