Categorys for phpLD

    Hi there,
    anyone know how to get alot of categorys into phpLD for free
    my site is new, and i dont feel for adding a few hundred categorys one by one

    I think Jamey sell some pre-made SQL files with about 80 categories for phpLD for a few bucks.
    Go check his site phpldtemplates.com

    microdude : that is sql dump for 2.0 but if you have v3 sure there is a way to make it work....afterall a lot of people just upgraded from v2 to v3 without problems it seems. Ask on the phpld forum how to upgrade.

    I use the latest. 3,05 i think it is, and thats was no problem for me to install it

    I deleted the original categories (two tables) and dumped this one. Weird things happened.

    I can not add new category or sub-category, I got following error when I try to do it. Anyone can help?

    An error occured while saving.

    The database server returned the following message:

    Unknown column 'META_DESCRIPTION' in 'field list'

    I got it. PHPLD3 has one more column than PHPLD2.

    So this php code won't work for PHPLD3. It gives error like

    "#1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1 "

    How do you fix it?

    try installing phpld2 on local maschine then upgrading to v3 and then import database to live site
