Surprising (Perhaps) that they went straight for a UDRP instead of contacting you first with a C&D, but if you received that email from DomainsByProxy, then it is not Spam/Fake as they only drop your privacy once they receive notification of a pending UDRP.
You have a tough hill to climb if you are making enough money from this domain name to justify the effort in trying to "fight" this.

Easier said then done. I've tried to make a since site.. but it pays peanuts and I really dont want to waste time or money on something that probably wont work out for me.

    ...

site is over a year old and hosted in panama.. C&D's were ignored by the DC.

You're seriously rooting for someone who infringed another party's established
    rights? Why?

WTSO is VERY popular :) With the new domain im sure it will remain that way.

if FOX was racist (lack of a better word) against other countries aside from USA my site wouldnt need to exist. Since they decide to be jerks and make there official site exclusively USA its only fair i offer the great show to the world.

The voice actors get paid $500,000/episode to talk... So there not hurting for money.

    Hi joecool6101,

Hope you do not mind my asking? And you need not give answer too if you rather?

But, are you same guy whom had the simpson movie site made on that phpvideo script that was going on a while (6 -9 months) back? The main guy had a forum and the script and all that and HE sold the site and maybe scammed and the forum closed and all that?

If you are same site? Just wanted to say, that was a cool site and I remember how popular that site was.. There were like millions of views on that site.

I had built one of those sites with that script too and used to talk on that forum some. That is the only reason why I ask.

    Was that the same site?

    hey,

little off topic but yeah.. my site is still based an on HIGHLY modified version of phpvideoscript.. Exodus (creator of script) is a member here on DP .. he got scammed when he sold the site and is why he stopped making it.

Yea, that once nice script place went to hell fast soon after he sold it..

That is a bummer they came after you, however not surprising. Considering how MS the show and brand is.

Well I guess is lucky for you can use offshore hosting huh? Otherwise they might shut down your whole operation..

They have never said anything about the content you are showing? The main issue was mostly because of the name used, correct?

I think maybe they don't mind The Simpsons being showed online. After all, according to joecool it can be watched for free for those in the USA, so why not everybody else? And none of the videos are actually hosted by him, WTSO just links to them [AFAIK]

Man, I love your site! Shame that you got your domain screwed away from you. However, I am sure you will be able to make your new domain work. :)

My sincere advise is to stay from the paths of big daddys...
They have all the resources to drag you and your efforts for months...

Why waste your time and energy behind them when the same can be applied to creating your own unique title...in a long lasting beneficial way.

    Regards,

You mean they "filtered" your area from viewing their site or so? While one is
free to call them whatever they want, unfortunately they have every right to
do that for whatever plausible reason there may be.

While you feel it's fair to offer the great show to the world, obviously they do
not agree, especially since they invested time, money and effort to make the
series a commercial success. But I guess you believe that because you live in
a place where they'll hardly hold you accountable, which I'm sure feels good?

Oh well, people generally don't know and don't care...

...until it happens to them, maybe.

If you ever create something that might become a commercial success in any
way, then you find someone else doing this sort of thing to you, then I also
    guess you won't mind.

Dave Zan, if I made something a commercial success and I was stupid enough to limit to people in the USA only [which I wouldn't have done in the first place] I wouldn't mind somebody else showing it, I would already be rich and it would hardly cause me loss of money, plus I would understand why they were doing it

There is no 'specific area' about it, they blocked everywhere in the world apart from the US. Overall they probably get more viewers in other parts of the world than in just the USA, yet they limit it to just the USA. That is stupid.

Really, why are rich people so fussy. I would be proud to have people making sites showing my work.

And BTW we are off topic here as the dispute isn't about the content of the site, it is about the trademark in the domain name itself.

Don't worry about godaddy. Just mind your manners and you'll be alright :).

OP, yeah, that's a pretty popular trademark world wide, so, no doubt they were eventually gonna drop the hammer.

What are your plans for new domain name?

watchsimpsonsonline.com ? Or would that still be bad as it has 'simpsons' in it?

That would probably not fly with that name? Because the site content is still depicting the show and it's characters.. So therefore that name associated with the copyright content would probably still raise issues.

If that name was used and the site content was all about say a family of squirrels called The Simpson Squirrels or some other not protected brand than it would probably be fine. Based on my opinion of this topic anyway.

The OP shows his intentions are of bad faith, and they may be getting ready to drop the hammer on him for the copyrighted content. Not sure how Canada works, but in the states if you are physically within the jurisdiction of the US, then US copyright laws apply, even if the site is hosted outside the states. Like I said, not sure about how Canada works copyright issues, but you may want to start prepping yourself for a lawsuit as you placed in your signature a link to your new copyright infringing site. Also, be aware, there are international copyright treaties.
