connecting domain name and hosting ?

    i have recently purchased a domain from name.com and few days later i took hosting from another hosting company i wanted to know that how do i connect them ?

    do i have to change nameserveres ? where and how ?

    Your new hosting company must have given you their nameservers address. If not, then ask them to do so.

    Then inform name.com to use these nameservers for your domain.

    Yes they have provided me with their own name servers
    am i supposed to replace the name server of my domain with hostings nameserver ?

    Yes , You have to change the name servers at name.com .
    Get the name servers of your hosting company and put them in name.com account setting ..
    Sign in at name.com ..go to account ..click the domain for which you want to change the name servers.
    Under the domain management you will find the option " Edit name servers" there.. go to that and change the nameservers there..
