Ghazni is set to become Biggest Bollywood Commercial Hit Ever !

    I read that Ghazni did 12 Cr. Rs. business within 3 days of its release, and it has already broken all previous records of advanced booking for any hindi movie. Trade pundits says that if it can carry on with the massive opening, it will become the biggest commercial hit ever in bollywood ;)

    The response from the auidence has been positive as well, so i guess this may well become true. What do you think ?

    The marketing strategy of Aamir Khan is paying...you saw what he did on the day Rabb ne bana di jodi was released?
    He gave his looks to all employees of big multiplexes and installed his statues in the theaters to promote his movie. Also he personally is giving interview to tv's shows to promote it

    Well it's just marketing tactics by Aamir khan nothing else. We knows there are many movies who earn more money then this. This is only 4 days old movie. First we should wait for 50 days complete.:D Because now a days it's rare to see movie running for 50 days.:D

    It is a crap movie.I don't think it will continue with good earnings for long.If you want to watch real entertaining movie go watch 'Yes Man' nothing bollywood movie like non-sense drama in it.

    Well things is that , its holiday season and there is absolutely no movie in halls which can compete with Ghazni in terms of star power and publicity. I think almost every one in India knows about it, so the earnings are not a surprise.

    Yes you are right and no bigger movies released with it except one Children movie Jambo which make clear the way to go for Ghajini. We would see real numbers from tomorrow since Holidays period will be over.:D

    I would agree with jimmy that it is too early to make such proclamation.

    Aamir got wiser seeing the marketing tactics adopted by Shahrukh and he is not dumb, not to follow them as well... ;)

    I don't think it will break all sorts of barreir it won't be gaining the title of most grosser movie in the history their are movie like DDLJ,OSO,RDB,K3G, to beat.

    well the promptional strategies adopted to promote the movie were quite different and it helped in drewing the intrests of the audience. but i dont think it will stay in the long run.

    It's just marketing that will sell this movie. I watched original ghajini and it was not great. It was good. I am just fed up of seeing aamir everywhere. Just switch it on and it's promos start on Tata sky. then switch to news channel he is there. I'll wait for the DVD. Well the "wait" is not eager here.

    Yes as a DTH user I can understand what you facing problems with Tatasky.:D Go to BIG TV or Digital TV.

    On main, I agree now Aamir khan's promotion looks like overdose and it may be turns into negative point.:D

    I don't want to switch to any other DTH as I have checked Big Tv, dish tv and Digital tv. I liked the quality of tata sky. It is a bit costly though. Yet to check Sun DTH.

    Its official, ghanzni made Rs. 100 Cr. in its 1st week, and is the biggest bollywood commercial hit of all times ;)

    Its expected to do an overall biz of 150-160 cr . ;)

    with or without hype ... AK has done it, yet again ;)

    Yes I also read the reports and movie did good business in overseas too and earnings are better then Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. So now number is also suggest that it's big hit.
