What is a concept phone?

    i've seen many articles and pictures of concept phones..
    but i dont get the idea.. what is a concept phone really?
    is it a company's future model? or, a flagship model? or what?
    any idea?

    concept means something special.
    Usually concept stuff is adoreable and limited for purchasing and of course with a high sell price

    errr i humbly disagree, concept is an idea of sort, even if it does turn into a production model it will not likely look exactly the same as the original concept (like in cars). Concepts cannot be bought as far as I know, but maybe I'm wrong, someone correct me. The "high sell price" you refer to are called the LIMITED EDITION not a concept model.
