Hi, what are the other places (than review section on dp) where I can get a review (most preferably free) of my sites. I would like to hear some feedback, suggestions and get to know what people are thinking of it. Places of promotion new initiatives are welcome as well . Cheers!
When I first started out, I didn't mess with going to websites for critiques. The visitors there are just tired of looking at other sites, so.... You want to go to sites that don't have a critique section, period. Ask family, friends, associates, coworkers, your mailman, the associates at a bookstore.... If you do research on the library's computer, ask the librarian(s).... All sorts of ways. I have a laptop, and sometimes I go over to a coffee shop in my area. I'll show my site to a couple of the workers there for their critique. If you advertise on other sites, ask the webmasters. If you use advertising networks, ask the ones handling your acount.... Think outside the box.
If you want some free review then I'm assuming that you want some back links on your site. The best way is to host or sponsor some contest. the prize could be an entrecard credit, a review on your blog or whatever you could think of that has value on other webmaster.
But what type of contest do you think might be successful? The contest might be as hard to promote as the site itself .
