BIC is International Code that usually identifies the branch across the branches present. For further information read here.. You can ask your customer care person to help you in this matter. Ask him for an intermediary bank codes that allows the transfer ..
I have asked him but he told me that Swift is related to Currency. It does not depends on the branch of bank code. Should I ask him for BIC code?? Can I do ask for that?
I think so swift code and bic (Bank identifier code) is just the same but if you want you can ask them about BIC too for your satisfaction
I have asked them again and they have told me that if your money is coming US currency then this is code chasus33XXX and if your money is coming in Indian currency then this is the code ICICINBBNRI. They have told me that Swift code is not depends on Branch it depends on currency. Please tell me what should I do now? Should I put this code ICICINBBNRI??
If you see in swift directory online, all the swift code starts from ICICI format and nothing from chasus format ... ICICINBBNRI is the swift code for CROSS BORDER PAYMENT PROCESSING CENTRE branch in mumbai so i think so you have to use this one as may be this is the swift code for other branches that are not listed in swift directory .. You will get you money in Indian currency if you have local currency account and if you have US Dollar account then you will get it in US Dollars ... Just put ICICINBBNRI and go for it
My account in the US currency format. Now I am putting this code. I will post again if money transfer.
Thanks mate but now I have added a bank account and then are asking for verification code. How I will get that? Hey phyza do you use moneybookers account??
Did you verified your address before?? Verify your address and you will get a verification code at your place and then you have to enter it in your moneybookers account .. btw yes i do use moneybookers account
