New site getting 1000-2000 UV per day - Whats the site worth?

My new blog, with user submitted pictures has got dugg, stumbled etc with a lot of visitors for the past 4 days. This has resulted in 4 days of really high traffic. About 17000 pageviews and 4700 UV in 4 days.

Its a funny blog where users submit pictures of the same format again and again (sort of like icanhazcheezburger.com but with a different theme).

The traffic looks like its going to increase as there are lots of direct visitors as well as increasing google and stumble etc traffic.

My question is, what would it be worth and how would I sell it?

I need cash to invest in the development of my main business project...

Being so new, I don't think a value can be truly assessed, as most sites are worth x amount of months profits. Personally I look for 8 months on sites over 8 months old, and however many months its been open for less then that. Take for instance, if I started a site, that nets me 100/month and its only been open 4 months, I would expect $400 for it, if its not a fad site, like for a certain event, or product.

    But this is just me.

You can sell it in Buy, Sell or Trade section of this forum or try NamePros and Sitepoint.

Unfortunately it will not be worth a lot because it is so new and traffic is not stable. Meaning that there is no guarantee you will be getting same amount of traffic 3-4-5 months from now. I suggest keep building your site and sell it later on. If you desperately need money right now you can try selling ads privately or monetize it with Adsense.

I would ride it out for at least 4 months.
With traffic like that it sounds like you may have yourself a new "main project".
    Good luck to you.

Really doesnt mean much with that much traffic within the first few days. You need to maintain it and build up traffic in other means since the digg and stumbleupon traffic will go away.

With the type of traffic you are describing, it would be considered low quaility by many, That mixed with it only been a couple of days old, you wouldn't get much at all, if you keep working on it, and get long term stable traffic, you might beable to get a fortune for it in 4-6 months =)

Virtually nothing unless you have some kind of revenue.

4 days isn't much to go on.

However if any buyer sees good potential in your site, he may buy it regardless.

I worth good, try adsdaq which is a cpm ad network, which will earn you some good money. You can earn more money than u sell your blog. If u r using digg to promote your blog, then stop using it. Because there are chances for banning your url.

If you were to sell it, buyers pay BIG bucks if you show good stable income from a site (over a good time period)

That's only if your site's content is flagged as duplicate to previous submissions.

the worth of the site is depending on how much webmasters are willing to pay for it.

Have it auction to see the winning bid.
