What to do with my list?

Discussion in 'Affiliate Programs' started by Viktor Drej, Dec 26, 2008.

Assuming I have around 6K email lists sitting in my getresponse account. These lists are opted through my previous blog in return to some free offers I had before...

I am not doing any affiliate marketing and has less knowledge about it. I want to utilize this list but don't know what to do, how to start, or what to offer...

Any brilliant idea is highly appreciated.

    What was your blog about?

Is there a topic related to this email list?

For what niche did u build list for? Find out some related affiliated products or try to set up your own product and sell them.

I have to agree with getjimmy. Find a related product you can promote or sell your own product.

With a list that big, you could charge a fee to SEO bloggers that want to promote via your mail list.

The best place to find a related product is Clickbank. Once you have the product to promote, write a little report on your related topic and include the Affiliate Product in your email and send it to your subcribers every week. YOu will be surprise how much you will make with 6K list.

I am not from US so clickbank is not an option... I already got some useful options at warriorforum.

I would send my list members a letter explaining that the old stuff is gone. Tell them that you would appreciate them taking a poll so that you can see what they are interested in. Then, create a poll and see how they vote.
    something like:
    I'm interested in
    tech news
    freebies
    vacation spots
    world news
    business advice

    ..........

You can figure all that out, but at least you will have a grasp at what your audience is open to.

PS. Will you teach me how to make a big list? :D

Sending your list a gift every time you email them is a good idea. Unrestricted PLR goes down really well and you usually have the license to give that away although you should check. If you still have your blog, monetize it with Google adsense. Write posts that will be helpful to your subscribers then send them an email saying that there is a new post up and include the free gift with your email. You will get traffic to your blog plus 'views' of the Google adsense, even if they don't click. :)

I hope I'm still on time. I strongly suggest that you give them something free that is useful to them. Establish a good relationship with them, and create a good reputation. Know their needs, and show some proof that your product will be helpful to them.

Finally, talk like an Internet marketer and not a SEO expert. Let your product speak for itself.

    Good luck!
