Now I did take a few days off, because of my problem with carpal tunnel. We have tested on Windows and php5 with version 3, and it works great.
Johnwoof, I assure you that the staff there, including myself do check the forum posts every chance we get. All topics, replies to topics are noted and replied back to once we see them. Every question that is posted in the forum is always noticed, but pulling together the information is time taking. If you have a question that is not resolved in a 12 hour status, PM myself, David, or the other staff and we'll help you as much as we can. FastLineDirectory.net
Does it have some functionality that phpLD lacks? Or is it easier for you to use or is it a matter of support? Richard
SkaLinks is good and it's SEO friendly. I recommend. I been using it for many of my sites. here's on http://www.bettingonweb.com/directory/
I did try SkaLinks and it reminds me striped down free version of eSyndicat. If you ask for any help on the support forum 90% of the time answer is: "Change your host"...
phpld is no doubt the script of choice if you want a easy-to-install directory script. It also has a large community to quench your thirst for mods. However, if you want a highly-customizable script with many features inbuilt with the original package, i would recommend WSN Links. May not be as user-friendly as phpld, but has definitely got more juice for intermediate level webmasters.
