You've done a pretty good job of getting traffic to your site! But, it seems like a lot of the traffic stops by and doesn't really come back, as evidenced by your forum dates. Overall it's a pretty good site but two things stick out: the color scheme (especially the orange font!) and the header. To me it seems that the header and your logo clash, especially the picture of the blue bike with the yellow of the sign and orange font. The issue with the header is your slogan and the bike completely obscure the site logo. Maybe try working in your site's name wrapped around the bike as a new logo. Coming from a fellow biker, I have an r6 as my toy lol, overall it's a nice site. One last tip for getting people to stick around and visit more often, I'm personally a huge fan of tech articles and most people that ride enjoy wrenching on their machines to at least some degree. Perhaps you could throw in some basic tech articles as part of your normal blog. Simple things like oil changes, replacing a battery, what to do at different maintenance intervals, even reviews of different shops and products. Good luck with it, I'll be sure to drop by again!
The site has potential but there are some things that should be changed the orange font does not look good you should change the color. The text at the bottom of the page is left aligned it should be center aligned and I think your logo could be better as well.
Blog is nice, you can add few photos to each posts. This will make your site interesting in looks and will make it more readable .
Thanks for all of the feedback. I see the orange font is a constant here. I have been told this before but I guess it doesn't look bad to me because I am slightly colorblind. I guess I need to stop being so stubborn and look for a different color. Is the a color anyone suggests for the font? Pictures in the articles and tech articles is something I have been meaning to do just haven't managed to get it right yet. I have a guy working on a new banner using the logo.
I like the site, although a better text color other than orange is what i reccommend... You have placed the ads well... I like the way the Wordpress has been turned into a real site and it all looks nice. ~ Mike
Its a good site but sorry that orange is not good,if you change that i think you will see a big differance.
I agree, as i have stated beforehand. The orange can be an issue for the eyes... Just remember; there are many screen types and many people see colours in different ways. Choose a nice colour, which may help. Do a survey and see what happens? ~ Mike
Okay, I have changed the background color to a darker color. I am hoping that it makes the orange stand out better. I hope this helps if not please give some suggestions on another color to use.
