How to know that your site has penalized by google?

Hello All,

I want to know how can we exactly find out that when our site or blog has been
penalized and the reason behind it. Is there any tool to find out it?

Is anybody knows please share with others.

 

Let's say your site has been ranked well for certain keywords , and out of the sudden it's not - it has been penalized. If you look for your one site name and can't seem to find it , it has been penalized.

 

info: command is really good in analyzing if any site / blog has been penalized by Google or not. Try it.

 

drop your ranking top most keyword & suddenly your site not in index.

 

How can you exactly say that rank down or site goes down means it has been penalized. May be some of your backlinks gone or you have not work on your site from the long period of time then your site ranking can also goes down.

 

This command tells about the cache,similar pages,backlinks,No. of pagescontain terms.How can we exactly know that site is penalized.

 

If google penalty the website means Page rank was sudden drop to zero annd google dont index that penalty website. you can identify those factors for penalty of website

 

* Check the "site:" command and see if Google says it has no information on a site
* Check the "link:" command and see if Google shows no links
* Search on the domain name in Google.

 

You can also use Google's Webmaster tool to know this info and keyword rankings of your site.

 

Assuming we are talking about Google:

IMO, you need to do a couple of things:

First, look to see where you have dropped to for a VARIETY of KWs. Most commonly, a penalty will put you all -30, or -60 or etc...if many of your KW phrases that you rank for show you on page 5 or 6 (50's and 60's). That's a pretty good sign that it is a penalty.

Type in your domain name or your EXACT title tag...something that you KNOW you should rank for above all others. If you do not show up...another indicator.

Finally, go to Google Webmaster Tools. They OFTEN will send you a warning that something is wrong. And they may include info as to what it is.

For Yahoo...

If you have only 1 page indexed, that's a REALLY strong indicator of a penalty.

If you can't figure out whats going on though - keep on asking more persons for their thoughts.

There are a lot of bright & helpful persons around here. I'm certain someone can help figure out whats going on.

Your site Pr and SERP's drop that is your site penalty.

 

But I have seen even PR of site has been down and it is penalized by Google.I want to know any effective and efficient tool that tells me about the exact date and reason of penalization of site.

 

IF the site is high ranked and having good position for the any niche suddenly loose the position and no traffic from Google means, the site is penalized.
