Lebanese Army soldiers found and dismantled eight Katyusha rockets on Thursday afternoon that were pointed south toward Israel, Lebanese military officials said.

The rockets were found near the southern town of Naqura, in the border region where an expanded United Nations peacekeeping force has been monitoring an uneasy truce since the war in the summer of 2006 between Israel and Hezbollah, the Shiite militant group.

The United Nations force is based in Naqura, and United Nations teams were sent on Thursday to help the army dismantle the rockets and investigate the episode, said Yasmina Bouziane, a spokeswoman for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

The Lebanese Army released a statement saying that the eight rockets were of different weights and calibers, but it did not say how they were found. source​

You speak like that people in hezbolla are foreign fighters but in reality they are Lebanese and have as much right to THEIR country as the Christians. If Christians in Lebanon like to be USA and Israel puppets that is their right but it is the also the right of others to fight them.

This is not about religion dude. In case you didnt know the lebanese christians werent the ones fighting against hezbollah in the last little scuffle a few months back, it was the druze muslims and the sunni muslims. This is purely about iran spreading the umbrella of power and influence the same way america did to iran in the 1950's.

Almost all of the lebanese sects that were fighting against each other in the 30 year civil war finally smartened up and decided to make peace with each other. All except for hezbolla and the weasel Aoun. No lebanese politician is an angel but at least they want the fighting to stop and an end to any foreign influence.

Hezbolla can only grow in power and influence if they keep things tense in lebanon. How else can they get weapons and supplies from iran and syria.

Its a freaking small country that is tired of killing and fighting yet hezbollah wont let them live in peace. They want another civil war,they want another isreali invasion to kill more lebanese civilians stuck in the crossfire.
