Just wanted to let you know all if you are promoting any Hydra offers be careful to read all of the terms! I made a mistake and had over $1200 USD in my Hydra account and they closed my account. I got no warning, nothing! I called them to explain my situation and let them know I made an honest mistake and they could care less. I was told there were no second chances I should have read the terms. Which I DID read and what I was doing was not on the list in their terms but there was a similar marketing effort in the terms. I guess I should have called to make sure before I used the method I was not 100% of. So, if you are marketing in any way other than banner on a site you own or PPC, be careful!
This is the same with Adsense. BAM! No warnings these days... Just a BOOM! and you vanish forever. I had some issues with Adsense like this. It happens all of the time. Thanks for the warning. ~ Mike
I have been meaning to join Hydra program. What was that particular traffic method or marketing strategy that violated Hydra's TOS. I am interested to know to avoid the same mistake in the future.
Then why u told them that u r using craiglist to deive traffic? Networks do not like traffic from advertising sites.
Ohh ok , so we must not use cl for affiliates . You added your link directly or it was masked . I don't think masked links get catched easily .
I can also confirm that Adsense is like that these days. I was warned for having just few "adult" words (no adult pics or videos) on a page.
Where exactly can I find these Hydra offers? I would really like to check them out to see if they are right for me to publish on my website. It seems to be quite profitable, even though you did use CL to get traffic. What is the URL?
I actually added the link into an ad I posted. They can track all traffic as to where it comes from. When I did it, I did not realize that it was a no no...Now I know but it cost me a pile of cash. LOL
they'll always no your referrer. if you do the only thing to block it (which is blackhat), they will see theres NO referrer and question you just as much.
I think with CL it's best to use email creatives and bounce them off CL using an autoresponder. But I could be wrong. At least that way you are not showing a referrer outside of the allowed email. Of course, I don't use Hydra (yet) so I don't know. It works with other programs though.
