Why Jinnah and Gandhi died within 8 months of Each other?

It's because of their actions??? or just natural causes?(I know Gandhi was shot and Jinnah died because of Cancer)

I feel they are responsible for millions to thousands of deaths in partition

I think jinaah helped us to get a nation, where we can live freely and pray to god freely without any fear.

?I think we did n't do like that ..how we could have done that when we have Muslims as our friends.????????

This is where everyone in Pakistan has misconception about India
if what you said is true then how could a person like Abdul Kalam can become President of India?

The actual truth may be a bitter pill to swallow for both of us

From what I have heard is it's because on Gandhi's and Jinnah's personal differences Indian became Indian and Pakistan

Gandhi:Gandhi wanted democratic setup as in India nopw but Jinnah wanted a Federal Setup like USSR.Gandhi feared that if there was a federal setup then individual states may break away from India. So he was adamant on having a Democratic Setup. Jinnah did n't agree on it So the parition became inevitable

Also some say Gandhi wanted Nehru as Prime Minister rather than Jinnah and some say this may be the reason...

I think Allies also played a part in it .. they might have thought that if there was single ruler for undivided India like Hitler..they would have feared for their supremacy... so they also favoured division of India.. on religious lines

but whoever was responsible for it. they would be in hell for causing millions to die in partition...
