Just a thought. I know some people might think this idea is not right, but I thought it would be interesting to buy a roll of those address stickers used for mailing letters but instead of your address put an advertisement for your website on them and go into stores and stick them inside magazines like rolling stone or maxim in a way that looks like it was done by the magazine. Just a thought which I probably wont do. Peace, MW
I agree, it might be worth a try. But, I am not sure if it's legal, and if you do, you might want to target your readers. If you have a music site, then putting the stickers inside Rollings Stone Magazine is perfect... but not if you are into real estate (I guess). And, I am not sure if it's worth the job though. One sticker will probably only be seen by one person (if you are lucky). But, it's a good idea, and it might work and it's cheap
A) unless you live in a zoo, you mean guerilla B) that's vandalism, the shopkeeper would be within his rights to insist you buy all the magazines you've done that to.
I completely agree, but I like the idea. It's a little similar to the Norwegian author who wrote poems and added them inside magazines in order to get people to read them. It was just a piece of paper though, so no real vandalism here
Sorry for the misspell and thanks for the sarcasm... I know the store would be mad. I'm just trying to be creative.
I totally agree with "slymarketing"....a very innovative way to promote, if targeted at the right audience....Im sure I can see another Richard Bradson in you "moonwalker". Probably you can try it even if it means paying the store keeping some amount....If it works nothing like it All the best for the venture...
Nice idea, thanks for sharing MoonWalker. I guess all the related problems have been solved by SlyMarketing and AskDGuru. Now the product is ready for use. I'll certainly use, if I can. Merry Christmas all of you
Sounds like a great idea, wonder what would happen if you got caught out though. Another method that I tried and was successful for me was to put leaflets into local newspapers, now you might think this would cost alot well if you did it by paying the printer alot of money so you could insert the leaflets yes but I thought of another way around it. Waited until the paperboy came and delivered the paper then gave him $10 to post a leaflet with each paper he delivered hey it was money in his pocket and a bit of advertising for me
