[FOR HIRE] Tabless XHTML/CSS Coding

Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a few coding jobs to take on. I'll slice up your .PSD and then code it in valid, cross-browser XHTML/CSS using no tables. If the quote I give you is under $200 I do not require payment until after the job has been completed. The minimum I charge is $20 but my past clients will tell you that my rate is very fair and lower than most. The average completion time I give to my clients is 2-4 days although for a little extra money I can cut that in half.

utahpigeons - My knowledge of PHP is very basic and I have not done any PHP jobs which are very impressive. I can however integrate layouts into PHP scripts quite well.

Have you any experience of tidying up SMF forums to Pure CSS?

 

Honestly, I have never worked with SMF before. I've done work with phpBB and vB but never SMF.

 

how much is your price to slice and code psd image for VB? And can you do the same for wordpress?

 

Sorry for my ignorance - but what is table-less html coding good for? Why is it better than the traditional coding?

Tableless coding generally loads faster as it uses less code than coding with tables. Tableless coding also looks so much cleaner.

 

Cleaner? Why? I find it that you can reach the same results using tables. Am I wrong?

 

Any experience with Drupal?

 

I believe they meant the code itself is cleaner with css; not the end result visually.

Any experience coding for cmsms sites? I'm probably going to need one done next month ... I could adapt it to the cms myself once it's coded, but if you know how, I'd love a quote on it. I'd also need the psd touched up first (kind of basic right now... just needs a bit of embellishing, maybe some color adjustments to make it pop, etc.). Are you able to do that, or do you strictly stay on the programming end? Just curious. Thanks.

By defintion, HTML is a language of structure and CSS is a language of design. HTML's original use was corrupted in the early days of its existence by coders trying to push the limits of internet design.

 

Can you PM me more samples? Can you work within the confins of wordpress? I already have a layout it mind, I just need some oomph..if you know what I mean.

 

what's your experience with Wordpress and Joomla CMSs?

I can do the graphic design and web design on my own for smaller brochureware sites but I'd like a coder on hand who has knowledge of these 2 CMSs as well as knowledge of XHTML, php, and perhaps database programming.

If you aren't good at databases, then don't worry about it as I can find someone for that. Let me know. feel free PM me some more portfolio as well.
