Google chrome is the latest browser to spike the browser war, Although Google has been sticking to Mozilla Firefox since a long time but what happens now.
Google chrome seems to be, really cool browser, packed with lot of goodies.
The tabbed browsing is really good ,it manages bookmarks well. it will take time for me to get familiar. Let's see if it works out well for you and web designers.

As we all know, Google have skyrocketed FireFox downloads through the space...

They was paying $1 for each refereed download and they can do the same for Chrome..

It's just a matter of time dude ;)

However, in my opinion i still prefer to use FF as my main web browser.

Where are "all these goodies"? They must be hidden in a menu nobody can find, because Chrome is one of the most basic and featureless browsers i've ever seen.

I'd say even Opera Mini on my Nokia has more functionality and it's only a few hundred kb in size.

There's nothing fancy when it comes to Chrome. All the features and functions are available in FF and Opera.

The best thing about Chrome is, if you had any privacy before, now with Chrome, you have zero privacy.

    Yeah! Google! WOOHOO!

It feels like 1984 baby! Big Brother is watching!

IMO, it is better than IE but not quite on the level of firefox yet. One thing it has over the others, it is extremely fast.

Useless, this thing stores so much information(not just cookies but searches, past history, frequently browsed website) I bet the Incognito mode was made to counter act this fatal flaw in security. I suggest to anyone who uses chrome to quickly throw grenade at it and switch Firefox or Opera.

Feature wise, its basically useless. If you're looking for a simple retro-browser with simple search and surf capabilities then chrome is right for you. It doesn't have extensions, themes(if any) , or other features that firefox and opera have.

i find it funny that chrome is the fastest product to come from google to get out of beta.
    gmail is still beta.

they needed to get out of beta so they can be added to manufactured computers.

i build my computers, but if you buy a pre-built crap computer, remember to format the hard drive. ;)

i dont know what about you but i don't trust them at all.
they take your data with their tool bar and go-d knows what they will do when they will have all your browser.
